One of a kind vintage Japanese handmade scarf that is pieced using indigo fabrics from the late 1800’s to 1920. Although I love each one that has arrived…this one is hard for me to part with!! I just love the faded indigo base with the piece at the end where the print is just barely visible. The patching on this one is lovely. Lots of prints and a few solids. You can see the wear in picture #3 that has been patched so the fabric is strong but shows so much character. If only these beautiful fabrics could talk and tell us their stories!!
